Samahang Pilipino envisions unified students who:

Explore and celebrate diverse Pilipin@/Pilipin@-American identities and struggles
Work in coalition with others who understand and align themselves with our communities needs
Actualize justice and equity through service and action within and beyond our university

MISSION STATEMENT 2009-2010:

Promotes an open environment in which we can engage one another about our unique social, political, academic and cultural experiences within the Pilipin@/Pilipin@-American community.
Builds and strengthens community relationships based upon common struggle and/or goals.
Develops student leaders that will invest to organize, provide services, and advocate for justice and equity in the community, with the community.

Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture

Please come and join Samahang Pilipino and the rest of the Pilipino community in Southern California at the 16th annual Festival of Philippine Arts and Culture. Year after year Samahang has always been a major supporter of FPAC and the advocacy of the arts in our community.

This year's theme for the festival is "Handog" which means offerring or gift. This year FPAC hopes to instill the culture of giving within our community to ensure that our arts and culture is thriving throughout our community.

When: Sept 8-9
Where: Pt. Fermin Park in San Pedro
Admission: $5
