MISSION STATEMENT 2009-2010:

Promotes an open environment in which we can engage one another about our unique social, political, academic and cultural experiences within the Pilipin@/Pilipin@-American community.
Builds and strengthens community relationships based upon common struggle and/or goals.
Develops student leaders that will invest to organize, provide services, and advocate for justice and equity in the community, with the community.

Are you interested in being a staff member of SPACE (Samahang Pilipino Advancing Community Empowerment)?

The Pilipino Transfer Student Partnership and Samahang Pilipino are looking for Peer Advisors to staff our shared Community College site, EL Camino, under SPACE. Please fill out the following application and turn it into outreach@samahang.org ASAP.
